Get creative, get seen, get results. Unlock great oragnic content this year.
Organic Content Limited was established in April 2022 with a mission to help companies create content for Generation Y (Millennials) and Generation Z (Gen Z for short).
We've seen first-hand what happens when brands and organisations treat content on their websites, social media accounts and other owned channels as ‘admin’. A top-down approach lacking proper optimisation or with zero creativity will get poor engagement and could even damage your reputation.
Challenges in 2022
The biggest content challenge companies face in 2022 is the need to be always-on. You need to be producing a constant stream of quality content to feed the machine.
And if that wasn't enough, the rules of communications have changed. Just because you publish something on your website, on social media or in the press doesn't mean people will see it. You no longer control the content platforms, and there's never been more competition.
Plus, in the last ten years there's been more content produced than in the whole of human history combined! You're not just competing with your competitors but entertainment brands, updates from friends and family, not to mention the dreaded algorithms designed to keep people hooked on social media and the content they enjoy.
Organic content is dead.
Do you give up as it's too hard? Or do you need to work smarter? Put it this way, if you start planning what to write, film or post on the day it's due, then you probably need a helping hand. And that's where we come in.
Organic Content can help you understand, well, organic content. If done right, your messages can still be heard. Your audience is out there. You need to know what will engage them. We call it finding your 'content MUSE', which means your content needs to be:
Motivational
Useful
Shareable
Entertaining
If you create content that fits into one (or more) of the above, you're heading in the right direction!
Of course, you also need a good foundation - an SEO and keyword strategy, content themes and values, branding, exciting ideas and stories, an understanding of how the different social media platforms work (and which ones your target audience is on), mixed with some creative sparks to bring it all to life.
The purpose of the blog
The Organic Content blog is here to help you find your MUSE and get your head around the basics of content production, channels and trends in the 21st century.
We hope you find it helpful, and if you have any feedback, get in touch at hello@organiccontent.co.uk.
